DARGZ

David Dargahi (aka DARGZ) is a New York City native bringing the city’s hip-hop flavour to the current vibrant London Jazz scene with his genre-bending eclectic tunes. Residing in London, DARGZ has collaborated with some of the city’s finest up-and-coming jazz talent for his debut album ‘Happiness’, including the Mercury Prize-nominated drummer Moses Boyd and pianist Charlie Stacey (Yussef Dayes Trio). As a touring musician, DARGZ has also performed alongside Kings of Leon, Vampire Weekend, Haim, and Interpol.His second album, Friends & Family, was released in 2025 and blends elements of psychedelic jazz, classic New York hip-hop, and modern neo-soul. The project is a collaborative celebration of community, featuring contributions from Taura Lamb, Oscar Jerome, Milan Ring, Nadine El Roubi, Nory, Joe Webb, Bymaddz, Poppy Daniels, Blue Lab Beats, birty, and Mysie.
