Moa Moa is the project of London-based artist and producer James Ratcliffe, blending experimental songwriting with vibrant, pop-leaning production. Influenced by the likes of Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Tame Impala, and James Blake, moa moa formed in summer 2019 and quickly stood out for its bold sonic palette and emotional depth.The project gained major traction on UK radio, with heavy rotation on Clara Amfo’s Radio 1 Future Sounds and recognition as one of BBC 6Music’s Bands to Watch for 2023. moa moa’s music has also landed high-profile syncs with Apple, FIFA, Love Island, BT Sport, Hulu, and FBoy Island (HBO), marking it as one of the UK’s most exciting new voices in alt-pop.
